Located on the beach at Island Harbor, the Arawak Beach Inn is five miles from the airport and eight miles from the Blowing Point ferry dock. Shoal Bay East is two miles away. Other points of interest include Scrub Island, Scilly Cay, and Big Spring National Park. Guests relax by the beachside pool and bar, or shop in the boutique featuring imported clothing, original Caribbean art, and gift items. There's a restaurant offering Caribbean and international cuisine open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Guests come back for what has been referred to as the "Caribbean's best pizza" and the decadent Banoffee Pie. Sunday nights may feature roast beef with Yorkshire pudding or roast lamb with mint sauce. Guest laundry facilities are available as well, and parking is complimentary.
The tastefully appointed guest rooms are furnished with comfort in mind. From Wallblake Airport:
Approximate driving time is 12 minutes and distance is 5 mile.
Shuttle vans or private cars of varying prices also are available.
Guests who fly to St. Maarten (SXM) can take a taxi to the ferry at Marigot Ferry Terminal, St. Martin (French side). At Marigot Ferry Terminal, the public ferry departs every 30 minutes in the morning and every 40 minutes in the afternoon with a travel time into Anguilla of 25 minutes.
Cost: Adults: $15 per person, one way; children under age 12: $12; children under age 2: no charge.
Costs are subject to change without prior notice. Upon arrival at Blowing Point Ferry Terminal in Anguilla, guests must clear customs again.
