Located on a cliff top with panoramic views of the ocean, the Pestana Porches Praia is a modern white apartment complex surrounded by beautiful gardens and offering direct access to Senhora da Rocha beach. The 60 apartments have a warm yellow and terracotta decor with tiled floors. All rooms offer balconies with land or sea views, satellite TV, desks, direct dial phones, kitchens, refrigerators, fireplaces and separate sitting areas.
Guests can enjoy a dip in the outdoor pool or practice their serves on the tennis courts. Before a night out there are beauty services and a hair salon for some extra pampering. After a day of activity guests can unwind in the sauna or relax in one of the hotel bars with a cocktail. There are also supervised activities for children as well as a dedicated pool just for them. The Valhalla Grill's sumptuous gold and scarlet surroundings make eating at this restaurant a fine dining experience. It is open for lunch and dinner, with an a la carte menu featuring grilled meats, seafood, and Portuguese, international dishes. The Mare Restaurant offers international buffets and the Casa d'Italia serves Italian cuisine. Both feature a terrace area for outdoor dining. There are also two bars. There is an extensive entertainment program, including tennis lessons, relaxation classes, Portuguese classes and live music every day. The apartments have direct access to Senhora da Rocha beach and attractions in the area in clued the city of Lagos, 15 kilometres away, and Krazy World Theme Park is just over 20 kilometres distance. Faro International Airport is 45 kilometres (28 miles) away with an approximate driving distance of 40 minutes.

Hiring a car is the easiest way to get from the airport; airport taxis and vans for up to eight passengers are also available.
Driving directions: From the Airport, drive in the direction of Portimao/Lisboa. After approximately 45 kilometres on the highway IP 1 Via do Infante exit to Alcantarilha/Armacao de Pera, at the roundabout take the Portimao exit onto the EN 125. After three kilometres you will enter the village of Porches, turn left before the BP petrol station. Three kilometres on, turn right before the CEPSA petrol station. The Resort is 500 metres from the crossroads.
