Location. The Charlesmark Hotel is located in the Back Bay area of Boston, Mass., across the street from the Boston Public Library. The hotel can be accessed by subway at Copley Square T station, adjacent to the hotel. Copley Place, the Shops at Prudential Center and Newbury Street are one block away. The Theater District and Fenway Park are within one mile of the hotel. Logan International Airport is two miles away.
Hotel Features. Originally a private residence built in 1886, the building features a classic Bostonian fa�ade and a modern interior. Textured walls, contemporary lighting and block furniture in grays, reds and whites decorate the lobby. Complimentary continental breakfasts including fruit, pastries, oatmeal, juices and coffee and tea are provided in the coordinating lounge. Seating is also available on the outdoor patio. A complimentary business center with computers and a printer is located on site. Discount passes to the Boston Sports Club, featuring a pool, are available.
Guestrooms. Featuring design elements by Dennis Duffy, guestrooms at the Charlesmark Hotel feature custom made wood furniture, Italian lighting and European light fixtures. Complimentary wireless Internet access, televisions with DVD players and stereo systems with CD players are included. Beds feature pillowtop mattresses topped with silver and gold comforters. All bathrooms feature imported tiles and stone work. Nature toiletries are complimentary.
Expert Tip. An excellent choice for Boston Marathon fans, the Charlesmark Hotel is located on Boylston Street at Copley Square. The hotel's entrance is at the finish line and viewing rooms are available on the first floor of the hotel. The bar opens early for fans to wait out the race and track the participants using special stations and tracking sensors.
