The Travelodge Elko (Nev.) is located off Interstate 80 at Exit 303, close to the Elko Regional Airport. Elko, midway between Salt Lake City, Utah, and Reno, Nev., was founded in 1869, and is still in the heart of Nevada's "Cowboy Country." Local attractions include Northeastern Nevada Museum, Western Folk life Center, Elko Railroad Park, Sherman Station and Gold Mine Tours. Surrounding the city is a wealth of outdoor activities including fishing, hunting, golfing and horseback riding. Like other cities in Nevada, Elko offers 24 hour casino gaming.
