Location. Raised high against the downtown Raleigh (N.C.) skyline, the Sheraton Raleigh Capital Center is connected to the Convention Center and is only two blocks from the BTI Center for the Performing Arts. The State Capitol and North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences are both one mile from the hotel.
Hotel Features. Casual American cusine is offered for breakfast, lunch and dinner at the Grove Caf�, while snacks and beverages are served at The Bar. The Bean Counter, a coffee bar, is open weekdays and serves Starbucks coffee. The hotel business center offers professionals a platform on which to perform office related functions, and provides complimentary wireless Internet access. Meeting rooms can accommodate up to 400 guests. The indoor pool and spa tub provide guests with a relaxing environment of controlled comfort and privacy. Fitness equipment is available for guests wishing to maintain a fitness regimen.
Guestrooms. Featuring comfortable furniture arrangements and classic European inspired decor, each of the 355 guestrooms fosters a sense of romantic escapism. Plush top mattresses, triple sheeting, fleece blankets and five goose down pillows provide comfort and relaxation after a busy day. The rooms offer desks, high speed Internet access for a fee, complimentary bottled water, cable television, video game consoles, coffeemakers and bathrobes. Turndown service is available upon request.
Expert Tip. Within two blocks of the hotel is the multivenue complex, the BTI Center for the Performing Arts. Guests are entertained by the North Carolina Theatre troupe, the North Carolina Symphony and the Carolina Ballet.
