Location. Boasting nautical styling reminiscent of an ancient Greek seaport and offering a premier location in the business and entertainment centers of Seattle, Wash., is the boutique Hotel Monaco Seattle. The Seattle Art Museum and Benaroya Hall are one block away, and shopping at Westlake Center is five blocks from the property. The hotel is conveniently located in Seattle Metro's "ride free zone" which offers complimentary Metro bus and subway like transportation within a 23 block area.
Hotel Features. Farm fresh ingredients presented with a New Orleans flair are offered at Sazerac. The Southern style delicacies served at the elevated exhibition kitchen include gumbo, catfish and wood fired pizzas. Nightly rhythm and blues music is provided and single batch and single barrel bourbons are featured at the 50 seat bar. Complimentary coffee is available during mornings and fireside beer and wine receptions are hosted in the lobby each evening. Conference rooms and a 24 hour business center are offered, as is complimentary wireless Internet access. A 24 hour fitness center boasts free weights and cardiovascular equipment, while the complimentary "Om Away From Home" in room yoga program includes the Yoga Channel and a basket of accessories for guests' usage. Discounted access is provided to a health club four blocks from the property.
Guestrooms. The 189 guestrooms and suites boast mixed wood furnishings, striped wallpaper, upholstered seating, bold colors and fabrics in contrasting prints. Bedding includes Italian linens, triple sheeting and down comforters. Bathrooms include Aveda toiletries and leopard print bathrobes. Each offers complimentary wireless Internet access, CD players, cable television with premium channels and video game consoles. Upon request, a temporary pet goldfish in a classic bowl can be delivered to guestrooms.
Expert Tip. Wednesday and Saturday evenings at the fireside wine reception feature a palm reader. Complimentary chair massages are offered on Tuesday and Thursday nights.
